About

Too many tabs,
not enough plan.

Trip planning used to mean a maps tab, a notes doc, a spreadsheet, and a few booking sites all open at once, each one holding a different piece of the picture.

Stylized green hills with a winding trail through the valley

It came from planning a cycling trip across Japan. Three weeks, a dozen browser tabs, a spreadsheet that made sense on day one, and a shared Google Doc that was already out of date by day two.

BitesOf is one place to build a trip day by day. Routes, accommodation, stops, whatever the trip needs. When plans change (and they do), you move things around instead of opening yet another tab.

It works for cycling tours, road trips, hiking, walking holidays. Anything where you’re moving through somewhere over several days and want to keep track of what’s happening when.

“Less like a travel app, more like a notebook that happens to have maps.”

A few things we care about

Built around actual trips

Every feature came from a real planning problem. If it didn't help with an actual trip, it didn't get built.

A tool first

You open it when you're planning something and close it when you're done. Following other travellers is there if you want it, never in the way.

Private until you say otherwise

Everything starts private. Share it with whoever needs to see it, make it public if you want, or just keep it for yourself.
